When I started my first vending route, I was an engineer with Lockheed / NASA and knew nothing about the vending business. It seemed simple enough, but I almost made the mistake of buying a package deal from a biz-op company simply because I didn't know better. You know, the biz-ops are the ones that sell groups of vending machines along with a locating service for an outrageous price all while promising "too good to be true" income numbers if you hurry up and buy TODAY! Well, after the fourth or fifth high pressure phone call from those guys in just a few hours (no kidding), I kinda figured there had to be a better option. What an understatement!!
